Cortland County District Attorney’s Son is Killed in a Crash

A crash on McGraw/ Marathon Road in Solon April 27 has claimed the life of the Cortland County District Attorney’s son.

New York State Police say 27 year old Robert Suben of Cortland was the only occupant of the vehicle when it was found, on its roof in a ditch, by responding troopers shortly before 6:30 p.m.

The investigation is continuing, but officials say they believe Suben was traveling at an unsafe speed when he lost control on a curve and hit a tree.

Media reports quote investigators as confirming the deceased is the son of Cortland County District Attorney Mark Suben.
