Cooperstown Burglary Update: Suspect Caught, Faces Felony Charges
A Cooperstown man faces felony charges in connection with a Tuesday break-in at a Railroad Avenue office building. All Otsego reports 18-year-old Richard Abbate stole items from several businesses including a computer from Brewery Ommegang’s office along with meat from the Green Cow Butcher Shop and some cash from another office. Doors at three other businesses were damaged. Abbate was charged on Wednesday with felony grand larceny and criminal mischief along with three counts of felony burglary.
