Colgate hits the road this weekend for what may be its toughest test of the season.

The 8th-seeded Raiders (10-1) will take on Number One Seed North Dakota State (12-0) in the quarterfinals of the FCS Playoffs at the 19,000 seat Fargodome.

It will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams.

Colgate is coming off a thrilling 23-20 home-win over James Madison.  North Dakota State, the defending FCS National Champions, advanced with a 52-10 rout of Montana State.

The Bison have won six of the last seven NCAA titles.

Colgate is in the FCS quarterfinals for the second time in four years.

The Patriot League Champion Raiders are led by quarterback Grant Breneman and running back James Holland, Jr. on offense.  Linebacker TJ Holl and defensive end Nick Wheeler anchor the nation's top ranked defense.

Kick off is Saturday at noon and the game will be televised on ESPN.  You can also listen to a live broadcast of the game at wkxzfm.com.
