Have you been counted? The City of Oneonta issued an advisory for those who haven’t yet completed the 2020 Census. Officials are advising residents to count everyone where they would normally have lived on April 1, 2020, even if those individuals were staying somewhere else. This includes babies and young children who are often missed in the census. It’s also important to to count all the babies and children in your home, even if they aren’t related to you or are only staying with you temporarily.

The results of the census will decide how much funding New York State receives from the federal government for the next 10 years.

To fill out the census which takes about 10 to 15 minutes, visit 2020census.gov or call 844-330-2020.
