Boxer and Author to Hold Book Signings Locally
An accomplished boxer that once stood in the ring with heavyweight champions Mike Tyson and Larry Holmes is in the area for the week discussing his book Meet Marvis Frazier the Son of Smokin' Joe Frazier. Marvis talks about the experience of writing this book with local author Jamie Potter.
"It woke up a lot of things that I had completely forgotten about and for people to really realize who Marvis Frazier is. He [Potter] was able to bring all of that out and everything."
Frazier will join Potter to do book signings at The Oneonta Boys and Girls Club from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Pie In The Sky in Otego.
