Bassett Named One of Best Hospitals in New York State

U.S. News & World Report has named Bassett Medical Center in its Best Hospitals for 2013-14 rankings.

Bassett ranked 39 out of nearly 250 hospitals in New York State.

The annual U.S. News Best Hospitals rankings, now in their 24th year, recognize hospitals that excel in treating the most challenging patients. The report showcases more than 700 of the nation’s roughly 5,000 hospitals.

U.S. News publishes Best Hospitals to help guide patients who need a high level of care because they face particularly difficult surgery, a challenging condition, or added risk because of other health problems or age.
