Authorities: Oxford Man’s Death Deemed “Suspicious”

Police are investigating a "suspicious death" in Chenango County.

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Authorities say the body of 58-year-old David Green was discovered in his Town of Oxford home on Monday.

According to the Chenango County Sheriff's Office, deputies were sent to Green's residence at 221 Charles Kelly Road around 3 p.m. after someone reported the death.

Investigators say an autopsy was to be performed at the Onondaga County Forensic Center in Syracuse.

State police were assisting personnel from the sheriff's office.
