One of the longest running "flower festivals" in New York State is coming up!  The 77th Annual Albany Tulip Festival is held each Mother's Day weekend and it is not to be missed.  More than 100,000 gaily colored tulips carpet historic Washington Park in the center of the city.  There is a full lineup of family events, live entertainment, kids activities, live music, and much, much more.  People come to Albany from all over New York, New England, and even Canada for this spectacular event.  This gallery looks at the history of Washington Park, facts about the festival, and lots of photographs of Albany's famous tulips.
