Afton Fair Cancels For 2020

Being one of the last big "shoes" to fall during this coronavirus pandemic, all eyes are on the county fairs and the New York State Fair.

The Afton Fair has just posted on their Facebook page that they are canceling this year's fair, which would have been their 131st year.  They do this, of course, using the guidance of local and state health officials.  With just 43 days until opening, plans had to be made and the decision to cancel was a difficult one.  The fair looks forward to an exciting fair in 2021.
