AARP Urge NY Legislature to Establish Utility Monitor
In the wake of last winter’s soaring utility bills, the AARP is urging the legislature to establish a utility rate monitor who would be an advocate for consumers.
AARP officials released a poll of Albany area voters over 50 which found that 75% don’t think the legislature is doing enough to help when energy costs go up.
