7 Year Old Involved in Tragic ATV Accident in Town of Decatur

Proving once again that ATV's are dangerous, on Friday, August 27, according to New York State Police at Oneonta, a 7-year-old boy was driving an ATV in the afternoon that day on private property and was involved in a rollover accident on Fisher Road in the Town of Decatur.

Police say the boy was airlifted to Albany Medical Center where he tragically passed away from his injuries. The accident remains under investigation but it should be noted that police report that there are no signs of foul play in this case.
