West Oneonta Fire Department to Raise Funds for Hurricane Sandy Relief

The West Oneonta Fire Department will be hosting a Hurricane Sandy relief drive from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday on State Route 23. All the monies raised tomorrow will be donated to the Broad Channel Fire Department on Long Island.

The Broad Channel Fire Department suffered a huge loss of their emergency equipment, including their fire trucks and ambulances due to hurricane sandy.

Then on Sunday morning, members from the West Oneonta Fire Department will be driving to Long Island to present all the money raised.
