NYSEG has up to $2 million in emergency economic development funds available to assist eligible businesses, municipalities, large residential establishments, agri-businesses and farms affected by Hurricane Sandy.

NYSEG’s request to implement the program was recently approved by the New York State Public Service Commission. Completed applications and supporting documents must be submitted by August 1.

However, because funding is limited, eligible customers are encouraged to apply right away.

Funding will be provided to eligible customers on a first come, first served basis until available funds are exhausted.
