SUNY Joins with American Red Cross for Sandy Relief Effort

The State University of New York has teamed with the American Red Cross to help New York State recover from Superstorm Sandy, which devastated the downstate region in late October.

American Red Cross and SUNY web pages have been set up for those affiliated with SUNY to make a charitable donation. Additionally, SUNY will host a blood drive Nov. 19 at SUNY Plaza in Albany, and central administration is working with campuses statewide to organize local volunteers.

Charitable donations from any member of the SUNY family can be made online, at suny.edu/sandy.
