The manor committee of the Otsego County Board of Representatives is presenting a series of public meetings to discuss Otsego Manor.

A current planned meeting is at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion in Worcester. Other future meetings are 1:30 p.m. March 23 at the county courthouse in Cooperstown and 1:30 p.m. April 6 at Oneonta High School.

Otsego Manor welcomed its first residents in 2005 and has become a leader in providing the social model of long term health residential facilities, commonly called nursing homes. Financial reimbursements have changed drastically in recent years and yet costs continue to rise.

These meetings will consider the history of the manor and important place in Otsego County. The past, current and projected financial situation, possible solutions and what the board is considering at the present time.

Otsego County residents are invited to attend any of these meetings. They are scheduled in various locations to make it easy for people to attend. For more information please call 432-6934.
