One Woman Injured in Four-Car Oneonta Accident

City of Oneonta police say a four-car accident occurred at 5:20 pm yesterday at the intersection of West and Center Streets.

Police say Warner Kingsbury, 33, of Masonville was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way when he didn't account for one of the southbound lanes when turning, subsequently hitting a vehicle driven by Danielle Malkenoff, 22, of Glenview, Illinois. Malenkoff's vehicle then went into the northbound lane striking a vehicle driven by S.A. Niewiadomski, 24, of Oneonta. Malkenoff's vehicle then hit the car of William Nordenhold, 20, head on.

Only Malkenoff was taken to the hospital where she was treated for neck and back pain.
