The Schenevus Central School District will not be tuitioning out students in grades 7 through 12 to the Worcester Central School District. According to Worcester Central Superintendent Tim Gonzalez the district carefully considered the proposal but there remains too many unknown variables to be adequately prepared to make this move for the upcoming school year. Schenevus School Board members say their district is facing a $400,000 deficit and paying Worcester to take over those grades could save a million dollars a year.
