Wanted Man Uses Bainbridge Home in Escape Run

A Bainbridge resident got a surprise on Sunday when a suspect trying to evade capture ran into their home then out a window. Police say it happened when they were trying to catch the suspect in an incident at Speedway in Bainbridge and the man turned into a Kelley Road driveway then took off. He was identified as Steven Carpenter of Niagara Falls and was wanted on a Steuben County parole warrant for which he was booked into jail.
