A Walton man faces charges for stealing campaign signs. According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, the stolen signs were discovered by a New York State Forest Ranger patrolling the Steam Mill Forest in the Town of Masonville last week as he recovered more than twenty stolen campaign signs that were dumped on the state owned land. An investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Jarett Griffin of Walton who was seen stealing a campaign sign during the first week of October via surveillance camera. He was booked then released with a court appearance to occur in the Town of Walton Court at a later date.
