VA Hosting Suicide Prevention Forum for Delaware County Vets

The Albany Veterans Administration Suicide Prevention Coordinator Joseph Hunter and VA Chaplain Bruce Swingle will host a ZOOM online forum to discuss ongoing issues with veterans and suicide.  The event is Thursday September 17 from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.

As many as 20 veterans are taking their own lives every day and this teleconference will address issues, warning signs, self-care, support avenues and other topics surrounding suicide prevention.  Veterans and military families are invited to participate in this conference.

The conference has been endorsed by the Delaware County Suicide Prevention Committee.  Participants are asked to cal 518-626-5367 for information.
