Nine month-old Levon Wameling is still missing.  Utica Police are now asking for your help finding him.

Earlier rumors that the body was found in a garbage bag were not true.  Utica Police are encouraging anyone with information to call them.

Sergeant Steve Hauck of the Utica Police Department says that anyone wishing to volunteer to help search for the child, or assist with the distribution of flyers, should call: (315) 223.3510.

Sgt. Hauck was on WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning and said that Levon's father is not officially a suspect at this time, and no arrests are pending unless there is a verifiable suspicion of involvement.

He says the mother is not officially a suspect, and that her statement that she wants to be able to put her baby "to rest," was most likely initiated by the emotions of the time, and that it was probably the first time that she has been in front of the media.  Her says that she was in a treatment facility near Albany when Levon went missing.

His says that the UPD Facebook page was temporarily reinstated because of this case. He says that the number of people on the Facebook page necessitated putting the page back up to get the word out about Wameling.
