UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Gets Federal COVID Funding

UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital is awarded $2.4 million from a new federal funding allocation designated for ‘hot spot’ hospitals. U.S. Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand announced the new round of funding which goes to cover unreimbursed health care related expenses or lost revenues attributable to the public health emergency resulting from the coronavirus. Over 85 hospitals statewide are sharing in $680 million provided through the CARES act signed by President Trump in March.
