Traffic Stop Results in Arrest and a Dozen Citations

The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of Dennis Armlin, 50, of Westford following a pursuit in the Town of Westford. A deputy attempted to stop the defendant for vehicle and traffic law violations at which time the defendant failed to stop and led police on a pursuit through the Town of Westford. The defendant stopped after several miles and was found to be operating his motor vehicle in an intoxicated state. Also, driving with a revoked NYS driver’s license and driving a motor vehicle without and court ordered interlock device. The defendant was taken into custody and later released on an appearance ticket. The defendant is set to appear in the Town of Westford court at a later date.
