Three SUNY Delhi Police Officers Honored

Three SUNY Delhi University Police officers received awards from the SUNY Police Chiefs Association for their service during a situation in March involving a possible suicidal student. SUNY Campus Police Chief Martin Pettit gave Lieutenant Timothy Hess, Officer Jason Lonecke, and Officer David Vorisek a 2019 Police Award for defusing the situation. Pettit says all three went “above and beyond” to save the student and demonstrated exceptional professionalism and dedication to the campus community.
