My parents still live in our family home which has been in the family since it was built in the late 1700s and is filled with all sorts of fascinating nooks and crannies and floorboards that squeak in the most wonderful of ways.

I credit my dad with my love of old houses and architecture. My dad was a brilliant draftsman who drew all of the plans for his various engineering projects by hand. He and I used to drive around together just to look at various types of architecture, something I still find myself doing when I need to escape reality for a little while.

Speaking of old homes and architecture, there is a beautiful 135-year-old farmhouse for sale right in Greene. Located on Cummings Road and priced at $369,500, this unbelievably gorgeous farmhouse has been updated to expertly blend both old and new and is on the market for the first time in over 40 years. So, if you've driven by this property and always wished...now might be your chance!
