This Magical Fairyland Trail Is Waiting For You in Otsego County

A special, magical place that everyone should see is back in Oneonta, NY. If a visit to Oneonta Wilber Park's "Fairy Land Trail" doesn't bring a smile to your face then I would be shocked. I first encountered it last summer while a walk in the park. "Fairy Land" is located on the lower end of a trail through Wilber Park that comes down to a bridge on the Oneonta High School's "S curve" road. All you have to do is go over that bridge and up the hill and you land smack into a magical Fairy Land which is family fun at its best!

It was started last year by an unknown individual as a way for families to have some fun together during the worrisome COVID-19 pandemic and it really took off! Here we are, more than a year later and the magic is back after the long winter when the fairies were clearly hibernating and now, new and different fairies are gathering throughout the wooded trail. Feel free to create your own fairy gatherings and dwellings to Fairy Land to add to the magic.
