The Oneonta History Center Offers Antique Appraisal Clinic Saturday
Did old Aunt Tilly leave you some dusty items that you have no idea what to do with? Here's an idea...get them appraised this Saturday at the Greater Oneonta Historical Society's Annual Antique Show and Appraisal Clinic from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM at the Holiday Inn on Route 23. Who knows? They could turn out to be worth a lot of money.
This fundraising event for GOHS is always very popular. In addition to the appraising from local experts, Antique Dealers will be offering a variety of antiques— furniture, glass, pottery, textiles, tools, ephemera, and more for sale, plus GOHS will have items for sale from the History Center shop.
To get your treasures appraised, there is a fee of $5 per item. There is also an admission fee of $4. You can get in for $3 if you bring in a printout copy of the event page from Facebook or one of the red tickets that you can find around town. For more information call (607) 431-9509.
