Teen Faces Felony Charge In Sidney Pedestrian Struck Incident

Village of Sidney Police made an arrest on Monday following an investigation into a pedestrian struck incident last July which resulted in a 17-year-old male facing multiple charges including felony vehicular assault. According to a news release, the teenage boy was also cited for having an uninspected and unregistered motor vehicle as well as speeding and driving while intoxicated. In accordance with New York’s Raise the age law the boy was arraigned in Delaware County Youth Court and released to a legal guardian.
