A fire in a pole barn Tuesday led to the evacuation of roughly 450 students from Sidney elementary and middle school to the high school gymnasium.
School officials say a tractor was destroyed and the barn suffered smoke damage as the cause of the fire may have been the tractors battery but the investigation is ongoing.
