In an effort to ease the continued shortage of caregivers, New York state is offering tuition for one-thousand new or current healthcare workers.

Nurses from around the state were in Albany on Wednesday for a rally and to lobby for bills that would mandate lower staffing ratios and regulations they say would improve patient safety and reduce injuries.
