American Idol

This morning, Ethan Harris called in to talk about his audition on American Idol.  Last night he received a "Yes" from each judge.  Before the audition began, he got to share a picture he drew of Keith Urban with the country star.  Urban was flattered and autographed the artwork.  The gold ticket means Ethan is Hollywood bound!

Kaitlyn Jackson joined us by telephone Tuesday morning less than a week after her appearance on the season debut of American Idol. She told us that the actual day of the audition was a long one, nerve wracking for her to be sure, but maybe more so for mom and dad who nervously awaited the judges decision in the hotel hall way...

15-year old singer Kaitlyn Jackson, who wowed the judges on American Idol last night, received a warm and personal message from American Idol winner (6th season) Jordin Sparks!  Sparks' debut album, released just months after winning American Idol, has sold more than two-million copies...

WOW...what a night. Two local singers got their "golden tickets" punched by the American Idol judges last night.  Congratulations to Kaitlyn Jackson and Kari Crimmins!  Ethan Harris, of Garratsville, has not had his audition performance air yet...

This week is the kick off to Season 13 of American Idol.  This year's competition is especially exciting for our listening area as two local talents are setting out to win golden ticket to Hollywood.  Kaitlyn Jackson of Norwich, New York, and Ethan Harris of Garrattsville, New York are both competing to be the next American Idol.
