Swart-Wilcox House Celebrates “Women’s Work” on Sunday

This week’s Sunday Summer Series event at the Swart-Wilcox House will feature a look back at the world of women’s work. The presentation entitled “Domestic Chores” is hosted by Loraine Tyler and begins at 1:00 p.m. It explores the tasks mothers, grandmothers and generations of women ancestors did daily and weekly. Informal tours of the museum will also be available Sunday. The event is free and open to the public and handicapped accessible.
