
Supreme Court Will Not Take Up NY Handgun Case
The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear the case challenging New York State's handgun licensing statute, which requires individuals to demonstrate "proper cause" to obtain a license to carry concealed handguns in public.
The decision leaves in place a U.S. court of appeals ruling to uphold the law.
