SUNY Oneonta is moving head with plans to construct a net zero emergency services building later this year. The one-story, 9,000-square-foot facility with an expected price tag of about $6M, will sit at the southern end of the college’s campus and will house the University Police Department, campus Emergency Management staff and the Otsego County Law Enforcement Academy. A shared training space will double as a regional emergency operations center available for municipal agencies. Groundbreaking is expected to take place before the end of the year.
