SUNY Oneonta has earned a silver rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education in recognition of its sustainability achievements. The program called STARS, the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System, measures and encourages sustainability in all aspects of higher education. AASHE is an association of colleges and universities that are working to create a sustainable future. SUNY Oneonta improved its STARS rating from a bronze, which was the college’s first participation in the rating system in 2013.
