SUNY Oneonta Day of Giving a Big Success

A press release from SUNY Oneonta was issued to thank everybody for the great participation in this year's campus wide Day of Giving:

"The SUNY Oneonta campus community always comes together in times of need, and this year’s Day of Giving was no exception. Thank you to every faculty and staff member who stepped up and made a gift to help support our students in need. Special thanks to Eileen McClafferty for her leadership in reaching out to fellow colleagues to relay the importance of this initiative. With over $85,000 raised to date, we are providing much-needed support for the Student Emergency Fund, Student Success Scholarship and the Fund for Oneonta.

In addition, with the generosity of challenge funds provided by alumna Roz Hewsenian ’75, many of these gifts were doubled, helping even more of our students in need. SUNY Oneonta students are the grateful beneficiaries of this support, so thank you to everyone who helped us make this day a success. We could not have done it without you!"
