The State University of New York and the New York Power Authority announced a new project to build a solar and energy storage system at SUNY Delhi that will provide clean, local power to the campus and the local community. According to officials the system to be constructed on 18 areas of property off Arbor Hill Road will provide solar power to the campus and nearby Delaware County Electric Cooperative members while also serving as a laboratory for students in SUNY Delhi’s Integrated Energy Systems degree programs.
