Sex Acts Solicited For Cab Fare; Oneonta Cab Driver Charged
The Delaware County Sheriff's Office is reporting an incident where an Oneonta area taxi driver is accused of soliciting sexual acts in exchange for the cab fare and was subsequently charged by police. On February 11, the Sheriff’s office a report was made from Treadwell by an individual who claimed they were being solicited by a taxi driver to perform sexual acts in exchange for the cab fare from Oneonta to the Treadwell area.

The soliciting cab driver was identified as 40 year-old Jeremy J. Wilcox of Oneonta. Following an investigation, police arrested Wilcox who was charged with one count of patronizing a person for prostitution third degree. Wilcox will appear in Town of Franklin court to answer for the charge at a later date.
