With warm weather upon us, and more and more people coming out to experience the relaxed COVID-19 mask rules and new guidelines, several area Farmers Markets are prepared to open for the season.

We know that some are already open in our area, but we just received word that others are following suit.  For example:

The Morris Farmers Market will open Thursday May 27.  The location is the community pavilion behind the Morris Fire Station. The market will run from 3:00 to 5:30 pm every Thursday through October 28.  The market will feature dairy products, meats, baked goods, crafts and other items.

The Village of Oxford has announced that their farmer's market returns to the village's Lafayette Park on Saturday, May 29, 2021.  Many Chenango County-produced items will be for sale as well as other products like beef, baked goods, dairy products and cheeses, flowers and plants, hard cider, handmade crafts and other items. The hours are 9-noon.

The popular Bainbridge Open Air Market will once again return to the village green on Main Street.  This market runs from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm every Saturday through Labor day.

In Delaware County, the Hobart Farmers Market will open for the season on Friday may 28, 2021 and run until September.  The hours of this market are 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

Within the next week or so we expect all area communities who have farmer's markets to be fully open.  Please get out and support our local farmers and vendors who can use your support more this year than probably in several years.  Thank you!
