The Otsego County Department of Health is reporting on the latest coronavirus outbreak in the county. As of yesterday, OCDH says that there were 2 new cases in the county reported. Health officials posted the following breakdown of the county's cases:

UPDATE from SUNY Oneonta just after 11:00am this morning:
"Test results indicate three new cases of COVID-19 within the campus community, bringing the total number of confirmed cases since the start of the semester to 684. One student is isolating on campus and two students are in quarantine on campus awaiting test results.

17 total confirmed cases in Hartwick College students
19 active cases currently residing in the county
1 hospitalization

In Delaware County, Delaware County Public Health is reportingthat there are 3 known active cases in the county and those people are receiving care at home. Ten (10) county residents are under mandatory quarantine and one is in the hospital currently with COVID-19. Since March there are a total of 120 confirmed cases.

In Chenango County, the NYS Department of Health is reporting (9/23/20) that there are 4 active cases with no current hospitalizations related to the virus and 7 total deaths. 77 people are under quarantine. Since March the county has 248 confirmed cases.

The Governor and all of our county health departments are advising diligence with handwashing, wearing masks in public, and for everyone to continue with social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19.
