The Otsego County Department of Health is reporting on the latest coronavirus outbreak in the county. As of yesterday, OCDH says that there were 5 new cases in the county reported, with 3 of those being related to the SUNY Oneonta outbreak of COVID-19 and the other 2 cases are county residents. Health officials posted the following breakdown of the county's cases:

692 confirmed cases linked to SUNY Oneonta (students or close contacts of students)
16 confirmed cases in Hartwick College students
26 active cases currently residing in the county
853 total confirmed cases (since March)
1 hospitalization
491 individuals tested yesterday

In Delaware County, Delaware County Public Health is reporting that there were no new positive test results for COVID-19 yesterday. Currently in the county there are 3 known active cases and those people are receiving care at home. 55 county residents are under mandatory quarantine and no one is in the hospital with COVID-19. Since March there are a total of 117 confirmed cases.

In Chenango County, the NYS Department of Health is reporting (9/17/20) that there

are 3 active cases with 1 person in the hospital and 104 people under quarantine. Since March the county has 245 confirmed cases.
The Governor and all of our county health departments are advising diligence with handwashing, wearing masks in public, and for everyone to continue with social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19.
