Jim Barber,candidate for New York’s 51st State Senate district announced today that as part of his virtual town hall series, his campaign will be holding a special town hall on Wednesday April 8th at 3pm focused on resources available to individuals,small businesses and farms during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"There are a lot of resources out there for people who are experiencing loss of income or economic uncertainty from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic,” ​Barber said.​ “I want to make sure that people know about their options and how to successfully apply for the help that’s available to them.”  The virtual town hall is scheduled for ​Wednesday April 8th at 3pm.​ In addition to taking questions, Barber will be covering three specific topics related to COVID-19 resources:

●Assistance to ​Farms​ and ​Small Businesses

●Applying for ​Unemployment Benefits

●Applying for ​​Health Insurance
