Sen. Seward Names Burlington Flats Man to Veterans HOF

State Senator James Seward announced the late Corporal Michael Mayne of Burlington Flats is the 2020 inductee to the New York State Senate Veterans’ Hall of Fame from the 51st Senate District. Corporal Mayne of Burlington Flats, proudly served in the United States Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom. The 21-year-old along with two other American soldiers and a translator lost their lives on February 23, 2009, when insurgents attacked using small arms fire.
