Schoharie Murder Victim Identified

State police identified the man shot and killed in early Thursday’s shooting in Cobleskill. as Timothy J. Oldorff. The 50-year-old from Cobleskill died after being brought to Albany Medical Center. A 17-year-old was initially charged with felony first-degree assault and first-degree criminal use of a firearm but it’s not known if an additional charge is to be filed because Oldorff died. Investigators say the shooting happened early Thursday at a Lamont District Road home. The teenager is in the Schoharie County Jail.
