Schoharie Economic Enterprise Corp. Opens Jan. 24

Ecomonic development efforts in Schoharie County are about to get a boost from a newly formed private organization. The Daily Gazette reports the Schoharie Economic Enterprise Corporation is holding a kickoff event on Jan. 24 focusing on guest lodging which is in short supply. The forum at the American Hotel in Sharon Springs starts at 10:00 a.m. and is the first of several events being held by the economic development organization seeking to address the opportunities and challenges that face the county and its economy.
