22nd District Congressman Anthony Brindisi announces he is introducing a bill to address the increasing number of veteran suicides. The Support for Suicide Prevention Coordinators Act requires the Comptroller General to perform an assessment of the Department of Veterans Affairs Suicide Coordinators Office. Brindisi says this bipartisan measure is one of several bills addressing veterans mental health that will be brought in the House Veterans Affairs Committee.
