Price Chopper and Dollar General Open Early for Senior Shoppers

Two area retailers made special “seniors” hours available daily so those who are vulnerable to the coronavius can get their shopping done. Price Chopper stores will open at 6:00 a.m. starting today which is an hour before normal hours. Closing time is now 10:00 p.m. Officials say rain check issuance is temporarily suspended. Meanwhile Dollar General dedicates its first operating hour to those over the age of 60 or vulnerable to COVID-19.
