Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is April 27

The 6th annual National Prescription Take-Back Day is this Saturday.

New Yorkers are being urged to dispose of unused drugs at take-back day sites and at drop boxes available year round.

More than 2 million pounds of prescription medications were removed from circulation at take-back days over the last five years.

Those who bring drugs into a pickup area Saturday for disposal will be remaining anonymous.
