Possible COVID Exposure at 6th Ward Athletic Club in Oneonta

The Otsego County Department of Health has just issued this COVID alert:

The Sixth Ward Athletic Club, 22 W. Broadway, Oneonta NY informed the Otsego County Department of Health of a bartender who has tested positive for COVID-19. Anyone who visited the bar at the Sixth Ward on Saturday 01/09/2021 from the hours of 12pm-6pm or Sunday 01/10/2021 from the hours of 12pm-8pm should monitor for symptoms for 14 days. If they become symptomatic they should seek a COVID-19 test and isolate themselves immediately.

The Sixth Ward plans to shut down effective 01/15/2020 in order to fully clean and disinfect their facility, as well as monitor results of other employees who have been tested. The club plans to open as soon as it is safe to do so.
