Police Issue 21 Tickets in Sidney Detail

A multi-jurisdictional traffic enforcement detail in the Village of Sidney last Thursday results in more than 20 tickets issued. Agencies involved included State Police, Village of Sidney Police, the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department, Delaware County Probation Department, New York State Parole and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. 3 K-9 handlers and 2 drug recognition experts were part of the detail. 2 arrests were for drug possession and one was for a probation violation.
